The thread running through all of it is the same: work out what is genuinely worth doing, get the board to back it, then deliver it without drama. That includes a great many recommendations to stop — projects cancelled, contracts exited, and products replaced with something already paid for. Those decisions rarely make a case study, and they are frequently the most valuable thing a technology leader does.

Independent, and we mean it structurally
No commission, rebate or referral fee from any technology supplier on advisory work. We sell hosting, so we say this loudly: if we recommend something we could also sell you, we tell you, in writing.
We charge for honesty, not for volume
We charge for the work of reaching an answer. We do not charge for work that will not pay you back — if the answer is don’t, we say so and stop there.
We publish our prices
Most of our competitors do not. You should be able to work out whether you can afford us without booking two calls to find out.
We tell you when we use AI
Research and first drafts are often machine-assisted. Analysis, recommendations and anything carrying our name are reviewed by a person who is accountable for them. You are entitled to know which is which.
No lock-in, on anything
Domains in your name. Code you own. Credentials handed over in writing. Thirty days notice on everything. If you leave, we help you leave properly.
We work ourselves out of the job
If the right next step is a permanent hire, we will say so, help write the role and sit on the panel. That is a successful outcome, not a lost client.
